Our family flew in from Dallas for my uncle’s funeral and Lenique Peggy at the front desk were so welcoming and helpful to all of us. The rooms were very comfortable and the services of the hotel including the restaurant, bar, and mini-market were wonderful options for us. My mom and I enjoyed the pool and lounge area outside. In the evening, we sat around the tables in the main area, chatting and telling stories about my uncle and it was so healing for us all. The location was perfect for us to travel between the airport and the services for my uncle. Thank you for hosting us!

I have never had better service than this. I came in at 9:30pm in need of a room after a long day of traveling chaos and they helped me in every way possible. They made sure I was comfortable, had what I needed and it was a wonderful experience. This place is beautiful and clean. Thank you so much Carlos and Nicaise for your hospitality!

The Doubletree in Mesa is my favorite hotel in the area and has been since the 80s. The rooms are spacious and super quiet. Brian is the front desk manager and is kindly professional. The lounge and restaurant are a quiet place to write during the day and a mellow place to hang outside of your room in the evening. The pool is nice size and peaceful. I stay here as often as I can.Nearby activities: The hotel is near an older mall which is being revamped. So the area around the hotel has many amenities and great restaurants. The parking lot is shared by a Red Lobster, a short walk. There is a Waterpark and mini golf park a short drive away.Safety: This is a well-lit hotel in the evening. The hotel is located in a safe area, but it is still Phoenix, meaning, just be alert.Walkability: The area around the hotel is a good walking area with other nice hotels in the area. The trees are larger and shadey and there are plenty of open businesses in the area.Food drinks: See above
