Best value for money Chinese takeaway around. Good combination of great food at a reasonable price. I have been using this takeaway for years and the service has been very good. Used them to cater for my 50th birthday party for 30 guests

Wrong order when got home, charged for Salt and Chilli chicken wings- got chips! Call ti tell problem, told go come back with chips/ 14 mile round trip. Owner she comes on phone shouting at me. I asked her just to replace next time i’m in and she goes off on one. Poor poor service, won’t be back there!

I wasn't going to write a review but changed my mind this morning. I ordered and collected two takeaways last night. When I arrived to collect order it was kept under the counter in the main shop which is always freezing. As soon as I saw the chicken in batter it looked to me as if they had been re heated because the batter was very dark in colour not the usual colour. My son's chilli chicken was dry and the noodles and chips cold. Curry sauce was really gloopy and the sweet and sour sauce was an unnatural colour. I phoned and spoke to the owner who I think is called Winnie what a horrible character she is when I explained my complaint she pretended not to be able to speak proper English but the gist of what she was saying was that she had used different flour to make the batter but told me she would only replace one meal but that I would have to return both meals! No thank you I wasn't going to waste time going back to the shop for one replacement meal! We used to go here a lot but then the quality of the dishes started to fall and I stopped going there for a few years. Once Covid was over started going there again despite her dreadful manner towards customers. However, I should have known better when the food was ready within 15 minutes of me placing my order this was obviously all re heated food. I wish I had read the reviews for this takeaway before ordering yesterday she doesn't get one good review! I won't be going there again the food is definitely not up to the standard is was years ago and given her abysmal attitude towards customers she doesn't deserve to be in business she certainly shouldn't have any direct dealings with the public. I feel sorry for the staff she has on the desk because all of them are very pleasant girls its not their fault the food is not good!
