Amber Rose - Edinburgh, City of

Booked a table at the Amber rose for my birthday drinks payed £40 ahead which I got back but when we sat down (we had arrived early) were approach by one of the staff to say he will immediately give our table away if the party doesn’t arrive. Not even giving the chance for people to be there since we were actually early. Thankfully everyone did arrive and I’m sure they got lots of money from us. We were just treated like a number and nothing more. Will not be back in a hurry.

Lovely cosy pub, good food and cocktails. Great for live sport and a really good external area. The team is very friendly and helpful. Clean and pretty good value for drinks and food.

Excellent food and service-such great value! Highly recommended for families. Best food we’ve eaten on our trip so far.

Brendan was absolutely fantastic, friendly, helpful handsome ; 5* plus plus plus plus, will definitely visit again when back in Scotland! All staff incredibly helpful. Would highly recommend The Amber Rose. Excellent food too.

What a place! Best pub in Edinburgh Had the Innis Gunn booth booked for pre rugby drinks and food, we arrived late but Jac, Jamie, William, Ross and the team were so accommodating. Food was great drinks range excellent loads of screens for watching sports and a terrific atmosphere Absolutely love this pub and will definitely be back next week!! C’mon Scotland
