Avaliação da contribuiçãoI stopped by for an early Saturday lunch. The selection of items on the menu was excellent and it was easy to add extras from the menu. The staff were friendly and efficient, as they have been in the past. It had been some time since my last visit, but I was pleased to see that the quality has remained consistently high.
I brought my grandson to this local Japanese restaurant because he is a big fan of Japanese cuisine. We made a reservation for a booth and arrived at 11:30 am. We were happy we reserved early because by 12:00, the restaurant was fully booked. I enjoyed the layout of the restaurant, especially the sushi train that passed by each booth. Each dish was labeled, making it easy for us to choose as they went by. In addition to items from the train, we ordered spicy Ramen, octopus balls, tempura, and hot green tea from the menu. Overall, we had a relaxing lunch with a wide variety of food at a reasonable price.
Nice Japanese food. Came to castle plaza shopping centre and stumbled across this place. Staff were nice and service was quick. Will be back
We went for an early Friday lunch and were pleased to see new partitions between the booths, which not only increased capacity but also enhanced Covid safety measures. We enjoyed all of our favorite dishes, which were as delicious as ever. The staff was friendly and the ingredients were of good quality.
We've been coming since Kokoro opened a few years ago. We've come on many different days and times. It's a go to place for myself with my mum for a quick lunch. My partner who adores Japanese food and sashimi raves about it and it was his choice for new year eve dinner. You can always order from the menu which means you are not dependent on the tram which can vary with what's on it depending on the time of day. The quality of the sashimi is really good, very fresh and lovely to eat. We also usually get edamame (served salted and hot), spicy karage (they change it from time to time which varies the crisp aspects and/or the spice level), mum loves chicken and avocado and I like the tempura vegetable nigiri. We are also all addicted to the Aburi (duck breast, wagyu beef, prawn) and my partner loves the eel and salmon. We went for new years eve 2019 and got a special treat of a aburi octopus which isn't on the menu (no idea if it will) which was great. Still raw but with a char. We love Kokoro and have found it to be the best consistent place for this style of food. We've tried sushi train, the one at Marion and also Noarlunga. They are constantly adding new dishes to the menu which is great to see. IF there are no tables ready, they will give you a ticket and you can wonder around the shops and they will call you when the table is ready. Excellent service.
