La Surena Mutxamel - El Campello

Our Sunday morning walk reward is the Desayuna Internacional at La Surena. An excellent “English” breakfast with coffee, orange juice and “French fries”. Lovely staff

Three of us visited to try the Thursday specials menu. Two items for €7 is great value. With 3 of us though we had 4 plates of food. There is a good selection of dishes and they are more than just tapas portions. One has to order at the bar and then wait for the alarm device on the table to alert you to collect your dishes but that works well

Wow! Really surprised that Cerveceria La Sureña in El Campello wasn’t listed on Trip Advisor because it is so popular. Ideal beach front setting overlooking the sea. We had the Desayuna Internacional consisting of two fried eggs (cooked to perfection), sausage, sliced bacon and chips (bizarre but excellent) with a white mini roll, fresh orange juice and a coffee for €5. Excellent food at a stunning price. And not at all greasy but the plastic cutlery and lack of teaspoons let it down
