Great meals, all fresh. the best baked goods including kolaches of all kinds. beef jerk thick and thin together with truthahn edgy when they need. a visit and they come back for more

Favorite was te pea salad and coleslaw. Meat was a bit salty for our taste, but we don't like alot of salt. Squash side was really good too. Atmosphere great, shopping great! Fun stop between Houston and Corpus Christi.

A must-stop place when traveling State Highway 59 between Houston and Corpus Christi. Such a huge selection of jerky, love the spices turkey jerky! Good sit-down restaurant. Shell station to fuel up. Also very clean everywhere especially the restrooms! Plenty of parking. It may look full from all the cars, but it's huge inside. You must try

The staff was rude to my family and I. There were not enough cashiers. The meat was extremely dry. The supposedly homemade Rice Krispie was flavorless and slightly stale. The food was overpriced and not worth the money. The bathroom was small and cramped. I regret not driving the extra 18 miles to Bucees for a better meal.

We stopped here Monday for lunch. Great bbq sandwiches with lots of brisket! Good potato salad too. I had a square of their chocolate cake; tasted like a texas sheet cake but higher. It was So Delicious; 4 days later and I’m still wishing I’d bought more?.
