Brickyard Counter - El Dorado Hills

If you're a fan of McDonald’s fries, you might want to visit this restaurant on a Sunday! I dined here this past Sunday, and unfortunately, the service was quite slow, and the burger was disappointing in size. We've been regular customers and have never encountered this issue before. We noticed that the fries were different from their usual ones and joked that the delays might be due to a trip to McDonald's for their fries. To our surprise, the cook admitted they often run out of supplies on Sundays and confirmed that, indeed, those were McDonald’s fries. It feels quite unsettling to think you’re supporting a local business only to find out you’ve paid $18 for a meal that comes with fast food fries.

Always fantastic! The place is clean and feels safe, with a variety of seating options that create a great atmosphere. The service is outstanding, and the food and drink selection is delicious. Don't miss out on the Brick Fries—it's worth it every time! It's definitely kid-friendly, but also perfect for a date night. This is one of our top favorites, and we're already looking forward to our next visit!

I tried the black and blue burger, and it was absolutely delicious. The wings not only looked amazing but also smelled incredible, and the salads were gigantic. They have a wide selection of craft beers on tap. There's a charming little lake in the back with a fountain, along with patio seating that features live music.

We visited for happy hour, which lasts until 6 PM. They have live music from Thursday to Saturday. The food during happy hour is quite delicious. We ordered a half rack of ribs, two burnt tip tacos, a tilapia skewer, and a shrimp skewer. The place was busy, but the staff managed everything exceptionally well. The food was really tasty, and everyone was very friendly.

The menu update and faster food delivery would greatly improve the experience. Waiting for 30 minutes is unacceptable. Has the menu really not changed in two years? It's a lovely place for beer, but that's about it.
