Local Provisions Kitchen Mini - El Nido

Two innovative chefs, Kurt and Barbra, take local fish and fresh fruit and veggies into new culinary territory. Coulis, jams, breads and savory crisps are freshly-made, in-house daily. Smoked chicken, boar, fish, as well as veggie options, crisp organic salads, fruit smoothies, and small plates provide choices for nearly everyone’s taste. The mains on the menu change daily. I always want to come back again to see what else they have created next. Cold beer, wine, and mixed drinks make it a great place to refresh after a day at the beach. Modest prices too

We really liked this place and should make the effort to go there more often. In my opinion, a well deserved top 5 contender in El Nido for value. I indulged with a huge pot of fries with the Brisket burger and the wife had a nice looking chicken rice bowl. Very pleased with the level of service, the quality flavour of the food and the overall ambience. Top marks to the owners for bringing some much needed creativity to the shores of Palawan

Super nice restaurant near one of the most beautiful beaches in EL Nido (Las Cabañas). Good quality food, fresh ingredients and very well cooked. The staff is super nice and friendly also. This is in fact the best restaurant we have been so far in Palawan Island. The only con would be the price which in my opinion is a bit expensive. A meal for 2 costed around 1500 pesos, which is not a big value for the states or Europe but is in the Philipines.

Love this restaurant by Las Cabanas, El Nido (Shoppes at Vanilla Beach). All the food we ordered tasted great (calamari, burger, fish rice bowl, seafood pasta, catch of the day: barracuda), service was excellent and the place looked good. Junna, our server, was also very friendly and warm. Make sure you stop by here for a meal when in El Nido!

Best food in the whole of Philippines (or at least out of Manila, Boracay, El Nido and all towns between). First and only place we've felt satisfied and had a nutritious meal, while being completely delicious . Absolutely recommend the rice and noodle bowl. Have eaten there 3 times (out of a 6 night stay in el nido and will go again for our last night). Staff are fabulous and owner is so passionate meeting her is the icing on the cake!
