Avaliação da contribuiçãoI was in town for business. The hotel clerk suggested this place as you have to have authentic Mexican food while in El Paso. The recommendation was great. We had fast service and the server was very polite and knowledgeable. I had the Plato Mexicano and it was delicious. The chile rellano was very good and there was plenty of food. The chips and salsa weee awesome. The salsas were very delicious and our group went through two bowls of chips. The ambiance was great.... Music playing and the birthday singing. It's decorated with sombreros and other Hispanic decor. If you're in town looking for some Mexican food definitely check this place out!!
It's been a while since I've been here so when my friend came to town I brought him here. The ambience always is the same... very loud and it looks like a piñata exploded inside the restaurant LOL. But anyways the servers are superrrrr nice and friendly and very attentive. The only issue I had was that daaaaaaaaamn our food and drinks took foreverrrrrrrrr to come out. And the crazy thing was that it was on a Tuesday evening and there wasn't much people there so I was confused why it took so long. Good thing they give you unlimited chips and salsa but then our server didn't even bring us water or anything so we had chips and salsa with no water or drinks for quite some time until I think one of the managers walking around noticed and came to help us out. Ok so I'm not sure what happened but the beef chicken and shrimp fajitas are not great : I was seriously superrrr disappointed. Now the queso fundido con chorizo was the best part. I 100% highly recommend that appetizer. My friend got some type of cheese enchiladas and they said it was super delicious so maybe next time I'll try that out. Ok well enjoy my pics I don't know if I'll be coming back here anytime soon again.
Andale was recommended by some locals in El Paso for Mexican food, so I gave it a try. I went on a Saturday and they had live music, a singer in the bar and a mariachi band in the main dining area. If you go on a Saturday with the mariachi band playing, then be prepared for the music to be very loud. I like a good Caldo de Res, so I was looking forward to it. I took a sip of the broth and it tasted more like celery, and upon further examining the vegetables in my soup, there was a lot of celery. The beef was tender, though the soup could have used more pieces of meat. The Mexican rice served on the side was flavorful. I asked the server if they had any homemade tortillas, and he said they normally do, but they didn't have any the night I went. He said personally their homemade tortillas aren't his favorite cause they are made more on the thicker side. So I opted for store bought corn tortillas, which were warmed nicely. The chips and salsa they serve for free is amazing. Their salsas are fresh, great flavor, and have a good kick on the spiciness! Next time I'm in El Paso, I'll probably order something different and not go on a Saturday!
We have eaten here the last two times we have visited El Paso. Their hours are a little odd (to us) but the food is incredible. Sorry I don't have pictures, but we really enjoyed everything that was ordered. Don't skip the complementary salsa it is outstanding! The shrimp ceviche is out of this world. The only CON is that each time I've visited, the ladies room has been out of soap.
Alot of people recommended trying this place out for some good Mexican. I must say they aren't wrong. Along with some great food they have a large selection of drinks. I got the grande margarita, strawberry as recommended from the bartender. Only cost $24 and i couldn't finish it all because it definitely is for 2 people minimum but momma ain't raise no punk so i took my Shot at it. Definitely recommend giving this spot a try and during the day because at night i heard it gets very packed
