Avaliação da contribuiçãoService and food were wonderful as usual! Love that it's a Locally owned staple of El Paso. Recommend it for drinks and yummy food anytime!
I had the worst service experience at this restaurant! Our waiter, Garret, was rude and dismissive, even when it wasn't busy. The servers and kitchen staff were clearly working hard, but the food took a very long time to come out. Overall, the atmosphere felt chaotic. I have a reservation for next week that I will likely cancel after this experience.
I went to the restaurant for Valentine's Day and the food was terrible. The guacamole looked brown and it seemed like it had been mixed up to hide it. The guacamole also had a stringy texture, as if it was made from old avocados. During the meal, my wife's chicken dish had avocados with several brown spots. Overall, everything was lacking in seasoning. My crème brûlée seemed to have been sitting out for a long time as it was separated and watery. When I sent it back, the replacement had the sugary top lifted up to check if it was alright, and there was a thick layer of sugar that was over charred to try to cover it up. The service was average and I had to constantly ask for drink refills. We had dined at this restaurant before and it was good, but after our experience on Valentine's Day, I will not be returning.
I have never felt compelled to write a negative review for a restaurant before, but three days later and I am still upset about my experience at Geogeskes on Monday night (11/4). I arrived at 7 to celebrate my friend's birthday, and despite making reservations (which turned out to be unnecessary as the place was nearly empty), our evening quickly went downhill. We were constantly interrupted to order, the food was brought out before we had finished our salads, resulting in cold meals, and the staff began clearing the tables and turning on brighter lights well before closing time. It was a disappointing and embarrassing experience, and I regret choosing this restaurant.
Like always the GeoGeske is one of the best restaurants in El Paso, and now that they added a separate bar you dont have an excuse to have a great time and have a tasty snack
