Avaliação da contribuiçãoOh, my God, it was great. I forgot to make pictures of food. We drove around Saturday after Thanksgiving in the evening. Of course everything was full. So we chose Great American. We left our cell and waited comfortably in our vehicle about 20 minutes. We started with drinks and nachos, of which I made pictures. It took a while to serve, but that was expected. My husband and I had the rib-eye sandwich and replaced the frits with a baked potato that was very hearty. My daughter had the beer broken shrimps with fries. My son had a 16 ounce rib eye with fries and it came with beans and Coleslaw. Everything was delicious! Anthony our waiter often came to make sure we were all right and let the bread come?
Went for lunch and were not disappointed. I had the bone in New York and my wife had the sirloin. Both dishes were perfectly cooked and seasoned. I had the mashed potatoes with brown gravy and my wife had the steak fries. Looks like they?re remodeling but didn?t notice any extra noise and it was well sectioned off. Thanks for a delicious meal.
My wife and I just had dinner and we were both amazed at how great they redesigned the restaurant with all the open areas. I had the top Sirloin, which was perfectly cooked and seasoned, beans were brilliant, my wife's chicken sandwich was delicious along with the shrimp cocktail. Our server, Katia, was excellent and made sure we were good all the time. Thanks for taking care of Katia.
As always, just an overall great experience. Food is always on point and just as I ordered it; good variety of drinks, staff is very friendly and the music choices are always fantastic. Will definitely visit again soon.
Every time we come into town we usually have to eat at Great American on George Dieter. Home town favorite we miss. It?s usually very good and a restaurant we enjoy eating at. However, we decided to order pick up. That was a major mistake. First it took over an hour to get the food from the time we placed the order over the phone till they actually handed me the food. Mind you this was a Thursday evening, not Friday, and not a busy Saturday night. How disappointing. Second, have you all ever tasted burnt baked potato? Well that?s basically what 3 members of my family received. Not sure who was manning the spuds here but a clear miss. Don?t get me started on the steak fries, the complete opposite way under cooked. The other food was meh. It pains me to score it this way but no choice. Great American management need to be aware and pay attention to details like they used with ?Great? customer service and exceptional food of the past. Hope this is a one off. Probably will take a break next time we are in town.
