Trivets Family Resturant - Elgin

During our first visit to this restaurant, Gotta mentioned that it was clean, welcoming, and the staff was excellent. We decided to order the all-you-can-eat fish, which turned out to be a lot of food on the first plate alone! The fish, beans, and hush puppies were cooked well, and the Coleslaw was good, although not to my personal liking. Overall, I was very impressed with the food quality. However, I must mention that while we were waiting for our food, an elderly couple sat at the table next to us. I couldn't help but overhear the older woman's questions, and the server's attentive treatment made me feel good.

We really enjoy having breakfast at this place! The variety of food options is fantastic and reasonably priced. The meals are hearty and cooked in a home-style way, and the coffee servings are generous.

Great place, good food, good atmosphere. It is not super busy, eating is classic American farewell. Get a burger you won't regret.

I recently visited a fantastic American diner that felt like a blast from the past. The fast food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the value for money was unbeatable. My son couldn't get enough and finished all his food. Can't wait to come back again!
