Italian Village Pizza - Elizabeth

I was disappointed to find out that this restaurant is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Additionally, I had a negative experience with the person who answered the phone as they were rude and unhelpful.

I decided to stop by this restaurant on a whim to grab a slice of pizza. I really enjoyed the person who served me - he had just the right amount of gruffness to feel authentic, yet also had a sense of humor that made him kind. The pizza was amazing, with a super New York style that is my favorite. The service was for takeout and the price per person was between $1-10. Overall, I would rate the food a 5 out of 5.

This restaurant is my top choice for pizza and calzones. Their garden salad is large enough to share with the whole family. The delivery wait time is also quite reasonable.
