Kurumaya Japanese Kitchen

After we heard so much about this place of friends, we finally made it out and wonder why we didn't come here earlier. The atmosphere is very welcoming, but more importantly our servers and hosts were super friendly and knowledgeable. We have the eel, eggs and chirashi. The Eel entrée was definitely the star of the show, while everything else was not disappointed. We will definitely come back to check other items in the menu. For those who enjoy an adult drink or two, they have an extremely extensive menu of Japanese beers and spirits.

Great service and food is delicious! We tried the corroke, Katsu Jyu, Chirashi and the Kurumaya Gozen with beef. Definitely a new favorite for Japanese foods with very reasonable prices.

First time here even though it’s been here for 5 years. Located very close from Lou Malnati’s. Trying lunch before the crowd came. Sushi lunch and Chireshi Sushi are ok. The raw Fish (sashimi) were not as fresh as we expected. Sushi and miso soups are good. Good service

Food was so good!!! So much looked good on the menu that we ordered a lot, and we loved everything! We got a box to go for things we couldn’t finish but it was worth it. The server was cute and attentive, and helped us navigate the menu well. Will definitely be coming again!

Good service, friendly and delicious. During lunch it is very busy so recommend to go earlier. You have lunch special menu for reasonable price.
