The Double L - Ellijay

We had lunch. The lunch menu changes daily. The food was fresh and hot. If you like country cooking, then you'll be satisfied eating here. The staff are super friendly too.

Went to eat with my daughter first time trying Double L. I thought this was a buffet style restaurant by seeing it online it is more of a cafeteria style when you get your food. The staff were super sweet. They had no mac cheese on the line and my four year old will hardly eat anything.. she was making a catering order and went and grabbed her a small Mac cheese. Literally saved my lunch! They have the best sweet tea. I got chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes green beans. All of my food was great and the portion size was crazy I couldn't even finish my plate. Very down home service. Will return ?

Food was great. Price is reasonable. Cafeteria line was a little long due to time of day but was moving fast. Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome.

Absolutely the most incredible little restaurant. Ellijay's best, for sure. Have been here twice now, and they never fail to give you the best eating experience. Get the au gratin potatoes when you can. If you've never had them before, it will be an eye opener for you like it was for me. Their chicken casserole, chicken tenders, baked fish, and their smoky cheddar beef and noodles are also top drawer eats.
