Viking Grill - Ellison Bay

We love this place!!! I hope it stays humble and continues to deliver the same great food for a long time. Reminds me of Classic Door County and why I love it so much. Whitefish chowder is something special. If you're lucky enough to have their Lake Perch, don't miss.

We just enjoyed a delicious perch and whitefish fry. Seafood chowder is made fresh daily and is one of the peninsula's best. Donuts are also made daily. We love the hard working staff.

The food was just okay. The service was horrible. Our server lived up to the reviews on trip adviser. She is apparently is legendary for her way of letting tourists know she could give a **** about serving you. She told my group, hurry up and order, I have a lot of people to wait on. If you are a tourist, want to eat mediocre food, and be treated rudely--then do go to Viking Grill. It is entertaining in an 'I can 't believe this is happening way. '

Delicious breakfast food! We had the farmers breakfast with really good sausages, the egg Vic muffin with a homemade muffin, country breakfast, coffee, tea and a cherry mimosa. It was all really yummy. The chicken fried steak in the country breakfast was tender and delicious. The chopped cherry preserves are really good. The location has a diner feel, not fancy but great food, quick and yummy.
