Eschenbach - Elsbethen

We had a great dinner, enjoy the pure taste of each course. For example, I had several pumpkins. We loved the combination of flavors, along with beautiful Riesling. We want to get back!

We had the hotel as a gift for my honorary work for six years, a few months ago and chose it again for the Salzburg Festival, We enjoyed lunch and dinner on the first day and were surprised to have such a quality. Especially the wines were really remarkable. Great atmosphere on the terrace in a quiet park

Had 3 courses dinner (with wine! here as part of the Gate1 tour. We had soup, chicken and dessert. The meal was good. The service was okay.

Have eaten here a few times and the food, mainly in the Austrian style was good. I had the venison which can be tricky to cook but it was tender and tasty. Recommend this restaurant even if not staying at the hotel but it is...a bit expensive in comparison. Very friendly wait staff.

We had a nice meal here while staying at the hotel. I would not go out of my way to dine here if I am in the old town, but we were tired and wanted something that was convenient and nearby. The restaurant is small...and cozy, the food is good, one of the few times on this trip that I ate fish, the service was excellent and friendly. We certainly did not feel like we missed out on a meal by not heading back into town. The one complaint I would have about this place is the 3 Euro cover change they have for every guest, I didn't encounter it at any other establishment I ate, and though not off-putting enough to get me to eat somewhere else, I found it a bit excessive, when the prices at the restaurant were already a little higher than what you would pay for similar dishes in town.
