Breakfast favorite! Also the home of a spiked Orange Julius--spiked or not, have it your way. Bottomless coffee cups, excellent wait-staff.

Classic! Traditional home style cooking in a friendly atmosphere. We stopped for breakfast and couldn't not have been happier. Between the creamed chipped beef on toast, scrapple, and the fluffiest blueberry pancakes, we were in hog heaven. Then the table next to us convinced us to try the pudding, saying it was the best they've had in decades. Mind you, this isn't no sweet dessert pudding more like unformed scrapple. It blew our minds. Don't ask what's in it: just try it. The Palms is obviously a much loved local place. It was full of families and regulars. The waitstaff knew everyone by name. We're so lucky to have stumbled onto this gem.
