The Taco Stand - Encinitas

Great. 2 times there and we loved it again. We have the Californian burrito, Sonora taco and a fish taco. Every bit was delicious. We would recommend everything. The Salsas were made right. The Spicy of the 2 were the solid green and orange, but were not really hot. They had a perfect kick that tastes the food. Get some tacos soon.

This is a very popular restaurant. My family and I went to dinner here last week and were a little overwhelmed by the place. We waited in a line from the door to place our order, waited another 10-15min for a table and at least 30min for our food. The seating is a chaotic free for all, with people standing above you, watching eating, waiting for your seat. I ordered the fish Burrito and it was decent. The sauce/salsa bar can add a little extra taste to your food, but the spices were challenging to get (long line at the salsa bar). If I wanted to return, I would try to find a time where this place was not busy. I will never return to peak times.

Definitely lived until the hype. We loved it! Locals also eat here, then you know it's good. We recommend the California burrito, tacos el Pastor and the Churros. Fun atmosphere and even better food.

Fresh! Two Uber drivers told us we had to go to the Taco stand so we weren't disappointed! The handmade corn tortillas paired well with the grilled shrimps grilled fish. I got the chicken taco on flour tortilla it was also delicious filling. The chips guacamole were perfect. Service was fast efficient. We enjoyed eating outside on the terrace. Would I go back in town next time?

I had my first fish taco here? I?m incredibly glad I did! The flavors of the tacos you get here are just superb! I got a Quesadilla as well which I thought was the best value on the menu. The portion was well sized and I felt it was money well spent. Once you get your order they have a little bar for toppings and homemade sauces and they all taste fantastic. The churros are also made in house delicious! Quotes from friends include ?Wow, this is quite possibly the best guacamole i?ve ever had? ?Can we come back here tomorrow? like seriously?? ?This burrito is incredible? ?I could pass away after this taco? The restaurant wasn?t the cleanest but I give it a pass because of the sheer volume of people coming in and out. Clearly this is a local favorite and I can see why. Expect to wait at least 5 10 minutes to order a bit longer on the weekends. There is indoor and outdoor seating and staff is friendly and busy cooking everything in house! Overall, 10/10 would recommend. I will be back.
