Avaliação da contribuiçãoI REALLY wanted to give Aumm Aumm 5 stars, but I can't bring myself to do so after the service my husband and I received Saturday evening. My husband and I had tickets for a show at Bergen PAC that evening, so we decided to eat locally. Upon entering the restaurant, I immediately spot a gentleman sitting at the bar. I noticed him because I actually thought his blouse was lovely. It was a beautiful shade of blue. My husband and I enter, and we are just standing there. Solid 30 45 seconds as the gentleman at the bar looks at us and then another few seconds pass and then he stands up and says, welcome I can sit you here for a party of two. I was so confused. When people walk in for service, they should be greeted immediately. Especially if you are sitting at the bar/door. That left a bad taste in my mouth, but I have to say the actual food was AMAZING, so the yuckiness faded quickly. Our waiter was horrible, and there was no other way to put it. One of the other waitresses noticed and started helping us with refill of water and question we had. It's now 7pm and I tell the waitress we are interested in dessert (did I mention it was my birthday), I look down at my watch and it's 7:20 and the waiter still hasn't come back to our table. I told my husband, I rather have a McDonald's flurry, then wait another minute. My husband was able to finally get his attention, and we paid and left. I'm totally disappointed, but I will say the food is amazing.
Went on girls night out with friends. Ordered the QUATTRO STAGIONI pizza. It was a terrible underdone doughy mess. Had to scrape off the plate with fork in order to eat it. Toppings was way too heavy to put on top of underdone dough. One of toppings tasted like pure salt (I think it was supposed to be ham). Was probably worst dish I ever had in a restaurant. Waiter was very disinterested. I couldn’t complain because I did not want to insult my friend who recommended the restaurant and did not want to spoil night. Nice decor inside and nice outdoor seating. Will never recommend unless you only go for drinks. Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3

My review is from the takeout I had tonight and last week. I ordered the same food: the eggplant appetizer and the tagliatelle bolognese. If I did this review last week, it would have been 5 stars for the food. Tonight, it’s more like 1. Hence, the 3 star rating. I can’t understand how the quality of the same items differed in a matter of 5 days. The tagliatelle tasted dry, it’s not even al dente. The eggplant wasn’t good this time there was hardly any sauce, and some of the Parmesan did not melt well, looked like it was still powder that somehow stuck to each grain over the eggplant. Even the bread that came with the food seemed blah, almost stale. I’m not sure I will go there a third time. Truly disappointed. ADDENDUM: I had to stop eating the tagliatelle. Didn’t get to eat half of it. The sauce was so different from last week’s. It’s like someone else made the sauce tonight. I had to take down the stars for food and overall rating. Parking: The ones nearby were filled, but the walk wasn’t far. We've been a few times and always had a good experience. It's a comfy place to eat. The food is good, but not mind blowing. The service, however is pretty abysmal. We were basically shuffled around through different wait staff and ignored. It wasn't great and I'm not going to be rushing back
