Avaliação da contribuiçãoOn a recent visit in Ennis we popped into the Gourmet Store on a recommendation and were very glad we did! We had a delicious lunch food is first class, and Tom, who was looking after us was very welcoming and attentive (and an excellent source of insider tips for things to do). If you are in Ennis for a few days or just passing through, I'd urge you to do yourself a favour and put in a stop there!
I was there today, food only ok service terrible! The man that was serving, think it was the owner, was too busy talking to people he knew to serve properly. Had to ask twice for a drink and for salt and pepper and when I finished meal he took my plate and did not ask did I want anything else so had to call someone else who brought the wrong coffee! There was a young girl there who was just as bad, think she was new but she would need a lot more training. Nice to sit in sun but would not go back.
Great service, amazing ambience, superb food (especially the sourdough bread!!! Sat here on a sunny afternoon and may even have gotten a bit of a tan.
We stopped at this little shop for a coffee and a treat and then returned with friends for a meal. This is not a tourist stop and has the feel of a local spot. Customers came and went with a chat with the owner. Very friendly and intimate.
Server Tom provided an amazing lunch experience with his gracious service and great food wine recommendations. Our tour planned on a pub dinner so we decided to try something different for lunch-a great decision! My husband enjoyed the lobster bisque, I had a lovely green salad, and we shared the seafood trio platter. The Sauvignon Blanc was crisp and perfect with our choices. Don’t miss this gem in Ennis!
