We were immediately great and were shown to our seats. decided to go with an appetizer that had a bit of everything; Ribs, wings, pommes, and I can remember the other two articles. The order came out pretty fast, food was hot. TASTE: The bbq sauce on the ribs lacked an important ingredient, possibly vinegar or pepper for this additional tangent taste. The rib meat was still a bit rough, lacking this slow smoke-cook texture. The “traditional” wing sauce had a sweet taste, unlike what “traditional buffalo sauce” is in the United States. Fries were great, seasoned and well roasted! Overall the family enjoyed serving and paying the chdxk was fast and efficient.
They advertise as a North American style rib joint, but obviously they have no indication of what is going on in the north of the border. they cook their ribs, throw them on the grill then cover with sauce, NO not as it did! not if you want to fall from the bone succulent meat. They told me they prefer a quick fixation to prep... so then you will dissappointing ribs, oh well.
We went to the restaurant my wife and myself, the order was a burger and ribs, the burger had good flavor and juicy meat but the ribs had zero meat, only bones, was terrible.
Worst quesadillas we ever had..cilantro and more vegetables for a bitter taste than cheese and beef. Flavor was bad, not worth tryin anything else in the menu. So bad I paid and left without eating
My girlfriend, her daughter and I visited this restaurant on a Saturday afternoon in December, 2016. The restaurant looked nice, nothing fancy, but I thought the food was underwhelming. First I ordered onion rings for everyone to share. One seemed to be cooked correctly and the others seemed to be a little overcooked, close to burned. They tasted good so I’ll give them 4 out of 5. I ordered ½ order of their special ribs with Federal sauce. I had read that they were fall off the bone but these were anything but. They were pretty chewy and by the time I finished the first of 4 ribs, the others were cold so they couldn’t have been very hot to start with. There wasn’t a lot of taste to them so I give them only 3 points. You get 2 sides with the rib plates so I ordered Cole slaw and corn-on-the-cob. I had one taste of the Cole slaw and didn’t want anymore they only get 1 star for that. The corn-on-the-cob was pretty good so I’ll give them 4 stars for that. The ladies were going to have salmon until the waitress told them they specialize in ribs. Duh! The place is called Federal Ribs not Federal Fish. The ladies weren’t impressed with their ribs either. The whole experiment cost me 112,537 pesos or $37.50. At the time of this review (December, 2016) there were 3,000 Colombian Pesos to the US Dollar.
