Amazing service with high quality food make a great night out. We highly recommend for any special occasion - though upfront booking is recommended. All things are freshly prepared and meals are set upfront according to season. you can adapt to vegetarian options/ lactose free if needed.

Usually you are assumed to go for the 5 course meal. Please do so - you will not regret it. May stay with "house wine" it is usually an excellent choice fitting the courses very well. Not only food but also atmosphere excellent. Meet "Anna" owner and cook.Enjoy first class waiting. Atmosphere excellent for a good and warm evening.

I'm Italian but every time I'm in Erlangen I make sure to dine Da Pippo at least once.The atmosphere is elegant yet cosy and warm, the service is welcoming and friendly and Anna is an incredible restaurant manager.The 5 courses menu is simply delicious: excellent balance of flavours, perfectly assembled top quality ingredients, you can really taste the real Italian cuisine.The wine list is really interesting (have a look also at the selection of grappa) but if you want to indulge yourself with just a single glass, I would recommend the excellent "vino della casa".

We didn't know what to expect with this restaurant, but we had a thoroughly enjoyable meal. There were a variety of courses, all delicious. And they catered for my food intolerances which is always appreciated. Would definitely recommend and will be going back

My review is in fact on the same lines as funny, interesting concept, sitting without knowing what they get for eating. at euro, however, it was a bit expensive for what it was at the end. Although every dish was really nice and...right, nothing was excellent, and many would have eaten more. the location is super beautiful, quiet and stylish, personal is about beautiful, old-fashioned top level of the waitress. weinliste very decent as expected. for a unique experience it was worth me to return, not so sure.
