Avaliação da contribuiçãoRed Rooster has improved over the last months in both service and quality. The Ermington outlet meets these improvements but the management needs to ensure that the non smoking laws in the outdoor area are enforced.
The food at this restaurant is excellent, featuring a variety of hot vegetables such as peas, pumpkin, and potatoes. The dishes are very fresh and well-prepared.
This restaurant has a great location for both dining in and takeout. It is a standalone building next to the main shopping center in Ermington. The food is always fresh and prepared quickly when we have ordered. It's recommended to choose a family pack if dining with a group to avoid individual meals becoming too pricey. The Pineapple fritters are a must-try and the Tropical pack is a favorite among customers.
If you want to feed the family a (freshly cooked tasty roast chicken dinner that does not destroy the budget in the prosess then this place is NOT! for you , the chicken was something that was sitting around for a little too long..., you can tell that because the breast meat dries up and it starts to get tasteless, flavorless, stringly and boring ,there was a time when the chicken used to be sprinkled with a (dry rub) it gave the skin that red rooster distinct flavor , there was only a faint taste of that if any , nothing like what red rooster used to be, the chips were just the same luke warm and soggy within minutes , with chicken salt that had very little chicken flavor to it, the piece roast vegetable pack is enough for hungry man or year olds , i also tried their hot lamb roll , (if there ever was a case for faulse advertising this is it , i allways look into a roll for the meat , there was heaps of dry slaw and no more then grams of roast meat soaking with this red weird gravy concoction , i took a bite and it was destined for the bin , the peas were good and so was the gravy with mash in it , stay away , go somewhere else , its not possible for a franchise to serve up freshly cooked roast chicken dinners each and every time. this was a last time for me.
I was in need of a quick meal while driving and decided to stop at Red Rooster. Unfortunately, I was not impressed. The chicken was mediocre and lacking in flavor, and I found the meal to be overpriced for the quality.
