Avaliação da contribuiçãoThis is a place beloved by locals, good coffee too. Super comfy chairs to just sit and talk. Their thing is environmentally friendly beans that don't harm birds. I love the church pew seats in the back, great for meetings and getting some work done.
The invigorating smell of freshly roasted coffee beans has always been a lovely welcome note when entering the coffee shop. Have visited this place a few times in the past several months. The baristas are friendly and very knowledgeable about their coffee beans. Price of coffees & teas are reasonable.Seating for about 12-15 people.Nice to have a break here in between work!
This is a venue where you can take a friend for a great tête a tête meeting. Even go it alone. It is a small place full of warmth and homely familiarity. The staff work hard but react tremendously to some friendliness.Wifi allows many to relax, doing their thing while sipping at their coffee indoors or in the garden terrace outside . This is a bird- friendly place. Their coffee does not come from areas in the Amazon where huge trees have been cut off to allow the coffee trees below to grow and thrive in the sun. This gesture killed thousands of birds and obliterated many species. Birds and Beans get their coffee from areas where the ecosystem for birds has been preserved. The decor is posters of birds, even drawings of birds done by school children.Outside, birds surround you as if they understand, and there is the solitary squirrel attempting to find crumbs. Birds tug at the ropes to get material for their nest. Here nature is alive and colourful. The terrace overlooks Mimico square where music and social activities take place, and it flanks a children's playground and behind it the lake.I have seen many friendships made there and personally consider it a second home to me.
Super, awesome place for coffee. Always friendly service. One of the few places in the city to get bird friendly coffee. This place is a must for anyone living in Toronto. Order a Mocha! YUMMY!!
The hot chocolate at this restaurant is really good. It was my first time visiting and the place is wonderful, a small, cozy spot with a focus on coffee. The staff are friendly and they also have some delicious items to bake or cook, like Choco chip cookies, pasta, and chalk. They also sell coffee beans and honey, supporting local small businesses is very important. They have a take-away window outside for anyone reading this review.
