I fell in love with Toast On Bloor about a year ago. I was new-ish to the area and looking for a place to reunite with a group of friends with dietary restrictions (gluten free, peanut free, vegetarian . We had ordered an array of different plates— breakfast poutine (my favourite! , steak eggs, classic breakfast, salad, burgers… and everyone really enjoyed their food.I stopped in today with a craving for breakfast poutine and had a lovely chat with the owner and her adorable son. Another family had brought their toddler and there were a few other couples at various tables giving this place a laid back vibe. Servers are always kind and attentive. This is definitely my favourite restaurant in the area, and not just for breakfast poutine.Kid-friendliness: High chairs available. Very laid back and I look forward to bringing my little one next time I drop in.Dietary restrictions: The menu has symbols indicating what is gluten free/vegetarian. Very helpful for celiacs and veg friends!
Spectacular service and even better food. The staff are friendly and accommodating, we came in with a crying baby and the waitress automatically showed me where I can heat up a bottle and seated us in a very accessible area. Alex was extremely welcoming and friendly and the restaurant overall feels very welcoming and homey. We’ll definitely be back!; ; have the second one, asap!!!
The breakfast poutine was absolutely delicious. The owner was extremely friendly and came and talked to us. The atmosphere was very warm and welcoming. 10/10 I would recommend this place.
Excellent food and the service from Sydney was excellent especially given how busy lunch hour was. She was very friendly and accommodating. The cuisine was excellent and everyone at our table loved their food. Great place!!
