Avaliação da contribuiçãoI am a resident of Phoenix, Arizona, but every time I visit my family in Eugene, I definitely make time in my schedule to stop here. The food is always hot with a fresh taste, and large portions. I've never had a job, even large orders over the phone, and I haven't found a place to place Chen's Happy Garden in Phoenix. My favorite go to her sweet and sour pork! Even her lunches make me take away with a lot of food.
We have the Mandarin dinner for two and it was really good! Plenty of food and really delicious! We worked hard all day to renovate our house and came here to rest and eat. It was wonderful.
We had the best experience considering that it was Christmas and they were so busy. The food was piping hot and delicious. Thank you for being open on Christmas!
The chicken fried rice was really good. Chicken in the rice was tender and tasted great as well. Ordered sweet and sour chicken as well. It was okay. The Chicken was a little tough in the sweet and sour. Staff was strictly business at first. Friendly after handing over food and thanking us. I would eat here again.
We finally tried their sushi and wasn’t impressed. Could’ve made it better myself at home. Go to the place on Diamond lake.. We we’re shocked with how poor the service was yesterday, as normally it’s ok when I go there. When our food was served, the lady was more than invading my personal space. It’s one thing to accidentally bump someone and say excuse me but I’ve never had a waitress literally push her away in between my friend and I who were sitting next to each other. Fast forward.. My friend asked the lady 4 times for a beer to the point of where we were almost done with our food before she got one. When another waitress came by my 80 year old grandmother asked for a knife twice, and the lady said sure. Then went about ignoring her for over 20 min, no knife. (I watched her the whole time as she was walking around behind the counter. Mind you it wasn’t busy in there. It takes like a couple seconds to run back and get my 80 year old grandmother a knife so she can proceed eating her food. I finally got up and asked again, may we please have a knife? Then she says, “sorry yes.” Another 5 min goes by and she comes out with a knife that was super dirty. My grandpa at this point attempts to clean the knife for my grandmother and realizes it’s super dirty, so he asks politely “may I have a new knife?” The lady was super annoyed, went in the back and came up with a cleaner knife. Comes out and says “OK, I cleaned this MYself. It should be fine.” How is this good customer service? I’m so disappointed.
