Lost Coast Brewery - Eureka

I stopped by during a road trip to grab some beer, and I was pleasantly surprised by how cool the place is. The woman who assisted me was incredibly nice and helpful. I tried the Skyberry Brown and the Lost Coast beer, and both were fantastic. Plus, the prices were great!

I was left feeling underwhelmed, to say the least. This place is enormous and beautifully designed, but many details are lacking. They do not offer water service; instead, you have to buy bottled water, which is terrible for the environment. We enjoyed the beer, but good beer and service can easily be found at other restaurants. On Saturday, there was only one person serving the entire place, which made for a less-than-ideal experience. The women’s restroom was also disappointing, and I had to take my young child in several times, with no water service available. I do want to see this restaurant succeed in the future, as it has so much potential in the taproom.

This place is not worth the trip. It was more frustrating and headache-inducing than anything I’ve ever encountered. Today, I returned two 15-gallon kegs, and I didn't receive a deposit back for either one. I don’t understand how this happened; it felt like I had been taken advantage of for a deposit of $25 each! They refused to return my kegs or any of my money, and instead, they asked if I wanted to come in for a beer that I didn't even want, so they could drink alone. I won't be coming back here.

They have a fantastic gift shop here. the little taproom has $5 pints, so it is a perfect place to visit when they are in yourka.

Great atmosphere at the bar and grill. Service was wonderful and fast. We had the flight that had 10 4oz tasters that were all very good. Or favorite was the wheat beer and the mango wheat. We also had the roast beef sandwich that was good and the chicken wings. (Chicken legs no wings) the sauce is custom and one of the best we have had. (You should try fitters pub wings in fitters sauce in Warrensburg mo for the best). But this was a close second. Would cover again and refer others. No military discount.
