The tradeoff between Lou Malnati's and Giordano's is the cheese. Giordano is heavy on the cheese, while Lou Malnati's is heavy on sauces. But that's not to say their pizzas aren't anything short of good. Be mindful of servings though. Deep Dish pizzas are a lot more filling, and most people will feel really full after 2 slices
My first deep dish pizza, ordered a small classic to go. Took about thirty minutes to make and excellent for my first experience. It was flavorful with tomato topping. The crust was light and flakey. The small was enough for two meals.
My favorite deep dish pizza. You always gotta go for the classic sausage but all of it is good.
Good pizza!. We got a pizza to go, one of the Maltati Chicago Classics. It was very good and I'm sure would have been better if we were able to eat it there, piping hot. Even my son, who typically doesn't like a lot of sauce, liked it. A medium was way too much for the two of us.
This pizza is fantastic. Very sad that Im only visiting.
