Maine Street Cafe - Fallon

My wife and I stopped for the first time and I have to say that the aroma from the kitchen was wonderful. We stood at the bar for a few minutes and were not greeted by anyone. We went down a hall and up to find a dining room and a bus board I asked if we had to wait to take place. He kindly invited us to sit somewhere. He brought us some menus and water. That was the last thing we saw. After we order the table next to us drinks then wait 20 minutes for their drinks. We thought the waitress would at least acknowledge our presence, which she did not. So we left. We drove the street to another restaurant where we sat and ordered our food in 90 seconds.

I do not really leave online reviews, but I experienced one of the best customer service experiences of my life. I seldom order the steak and the frits medium and it came well cooked. I hate to give food back so I didn't say anything and eat my food. It was good, but not great, and I was a little disappointed my steak came over boiled. A few bites in my meal without asking me, I was served a medium rare steak after the boss sent it to me without questions or asking. You took the initiative! I'll be back! It was a much more pleasant meal cooked with the steak medium rare, thanks.

Definitely the best place to eat in Fallon. Maine Street Café raised the bar for the restaurant scene here. The food, the servers and the atmosphere are all above par. My wife and I have often eaten here and it is impressive every time. Thanks to the staff for hard work! Please stop the great service!

The customer service is great. The Maryland Crabcakes are not Maryland Crabcakes, more like a hushpuppy....pure bread....no crab taste. The lettuce wrap appetizers are good. Get a bottle of the champagne cheaper than individual drinks.
