We had dinner today at the Sweetwater restaurant in the Merrifield area not only was it subpar but after I sent my lobster bisque back because it was tepid-if that- I swallowed something I can only describe as “slimey”. I told our server, Yevi ? , that I wanted it off our tab because of what I swallowed. My husband SIL thought the manager would be stopping by but I knew nobody was coming because it’s not the 1st time this has happened. When we left there were at least 3 managers, several servers hostesses at the front of the restaurant absolutely nobody even acknowledged us. My husband had the drunken ribeye -again-no shock it wasn’t the same quality we’re used to with the GARs. This isn’t the first time for this either. Too much fat. For the prices y’all are charging maybe start providing great customer service again, food that is always delicious no matter what you order steaks that don’t have a ton of fat. We frequent Sweetwater, Coastal Flats, Silverado Mike’s..all of them are having serious issues. Don’t even get me started on Mike’s! Save your go elsewhere. Sad to see your restaurants going downhill like this. Our server was good it’s the management that failed us.
Sweetwater is part of the Great American Restaurant chain. Always wonderful food and friendly service.

We love the southwest chicken salad. That's why we come here : Ok the food itself is amazing but for $20, stop being stingy with the avocado. It was only a few slices...
I could eat the salmon and flourless chocolate waffle every day
