Basta Pasta - Fallston

The pasta and bolognese were great as usual. the risotto milanese was terrible, bland, tasteless. it tasted as if the rice was added to a cream reduction without seasoning, including just a little salt. the garnels were hard as the meeresschalopps. I like to try different dishes, but I think I have to stick with the bases in basta pasta.

Eating was amazing! loved the garnel bowl with vodka sauce! the salatbrotsticks are groundless! I love the sangria!

When we arrived the restaurant was not very busy maybe five or six tables. Our server finally appeared. The wait for salad was way too long and the entrée took almost 30 minutes to arrive. At that point, most of the tables were gone. We FINALLY flagged the waiter down and got our check. I would recommend Basta Pasta to my friends if they had a LOT OF TIME TO KILL. We have been going there for years this was the worst.

Basta Pasta is always good. Great food, great service, reasonable prices. The owner, Mike, is usually on hand to meet and greet, and his staff is professional and efficient. Great for celebrations, date night or a quick meal, too.
