Avaliação da contribuiçãoThis was our favorite diner from our Fargo days and easily worth the detour on a roadtrip. Thier hot beef sandwich was delicious and properly smothered as you can see with the attached photo. Overall one of my favorite diners I have been to.
Bad Visit. We've been going to Mom's for years and always have been happy with the service and food. That's why I went to a 5. I'd hate for 1 visit to overshadow the previous good ones. Less than 1/3 full and we waited over an hour for food and most of it wasn't hot at all. Wait staff was great.
This is an old-fashioned diner experience. Yes, the decor is an amalgam of several 20th century decades. The service is very good. There are a few large screen tvs playing sports for those who can't handle too much withdrawal from technology. The food is good. For me, it's the nostalgia that makes this place great. It reminds me of the restaurants where my parents would take me.
Okay for a diner. Nothing special to note about it. It's service was good as the waitress was friendly and kind. Even helped with my broken card. The food was average for a diner. Having one of the omelets was okay but it tasted a bit... dry on its own. The bacon was good but didn't taste freshly fried. Toast is toast. Nothing special. And my hash browns were slightly burnt on one side and under cooked on the other. Hashbrowns should be crispy. and soft. Not Crispy and chewy halfway through. Otherwise a bit expensive. But okay nonetheless.
Very sad to see this place go downhill. Was a family favorite for many years. TV was not on, decorations changed, untrained inexperienced wait staff roaming about making the environment feel anxious. We miss the old Mom's kitchen! Train your staff! Bring back the salad bar add-on! It's the reason the restaurant was such a draw! The food was good but extremely salty, aside from the salad bar which had some not-so-fresh lettuce in it. I think the new owners expect the place to run itself. The old owner worked incredibly hard. Those poor waiters and waitresses are in there trying to run a whole restaurant!
