Avaliação da contribuiçãoFor the day of the vaters brunch, it was sooo good! the first time I have brunch here (love the regular menu! , it was beyond my expectations! not many restaurants in farmington offer eggs benedict, 12 west has several sorts! her Hollandaise sauce is exalted! our party of four ordered a lot of directed, all were excellent as our server, the general atmosphere. a great breakfast vatertag!
Misti was a big server. Renew the menu and propose large wines to accompany the dishes. Decor was great as the food. My husband had the special that was a steak (fill), black sole, mushroom risotto and asparagus. I had the small plate Petite Filet with potatoes. Everything perfectly cooked as ordered. Had recommended the special sweet potato bread pudding from misti, which was great, but would have used more caramel sauce. When we mentioned this, she brought even more sauce with our Ti Go Box. Recommend this restaurant.
I really enjoyed the food and the service HOWEVER if you really enjoy creme brûlée please note that they serve it right out of the fridge pre-made. The beat part of the meal is the baked Brie.
Loved It!. I used to go there every chance I got! It's the perfect size and everything is always delicious! Ambiance is excellent...perfect for a lunch date with the girls or a dinner date with, well, a date! :
Very good independent restaurant. Had an excellent Petite Filet for dinner the other night with perfectly steamed veggies and very tasty dual potatoes. It wasn't Ruth's Chris or Morton's, but I didn't have to take out a second mortgage for the good steak either. The wine list is o.k. for the area and the food paring. I can understand why the proprietor would hesitate to stock more interesting and costly bottles. In an area where the number one selling wine is a hyper sweet blackberry, the wine selection really doesn't matter that much, does it? The rest of the menu is creative, reasonable and of very good quality. I've never had a bad meal and I would be pressed to think of even one where I was not mostly, if not completely, satisfied. Again, haute cuisine it is not, but most people around here wouldn't know a Bordelaise from a Beurre Blanc anyway. The only negative would be that you have to walk through the bar to get to the non-smoking section of the restaurant. I avoid Friday and Saturday because on those nights, the bar can resemble a roadhouse more than an upscale restaurant. One comment to the proprietor, your place is way too small to allow cigars. I don't mind a slight whiff of a good cigar that may cost as much as a named drink, but cheap ones just stink and I could smell them all the way in the far corner of the non-smoking area.
