Avaliação da contribuiçãoVariety of Indian street food. Tea was good. Nice ambience. Nice seating set. It's a small place, but they did it wonderfully.
From customer service to food quality, this is a hidden gem! The staff made a wonderful task to make us two Indian types of pizza. The gentleman who led the checkout took his time to explain what we ordered. He made our experience wonderful. I drove 35 minutes and I told you it was worth it. Pizzas left us speechless.
We have fallen from this place in the evening at 5 pm and there are actually 2 sockets in the same premises. The cafe serves tea, coffee, smoothware and ice cream options, where the other branch serves all Indian snacks and lunch and dinner. We ordered an eipuff, a Veg Puff, a cheese vada pav and mirchi chat. The egg puppet was okay, it didn't fill the onion in an egg in puff pastries so it wasn't so great. The Veg Puff, Mychi Chat were amazing. The Vada-Pav in itself was great, only that the cheese wasn't melted it was just a slice that stuck there that didn't go too well. Next time I'd order the normal Vada Pav. We brought them to the cafe and could eat tea there. The tea is served with 2 osmania biscuits. The tea was not exactly as we would expect in an Indian cafe, but I would say it was decent. Overall, I found this a great place to meet up to chai and Indian snacks.
Tested her chicken tikka pizza and it was Yam. A large pizza can be 3 ppl. This will be my place for Indian pizza.
Today I got to try out Gift of India and their indo-american pizzas! I ordered half Chicken Tikka, and the other half was Paneer Tikka pizza. Overall, I loved experiencing a new flavor fusion. The chicken side was slightly more preferable to me, but the paneer wasn't bad by any means. Just wasn't my personal favorite. The pizza as a whole tho was made super well, loved the sauces that they chose, and the veggies. My one slight complaint is that it wasn't spicy enough for me. And I'm not talking about jalapenos (which you could add according to their website), I'm talking more about spices. If my eyes were blindfolded and I had to guess, an Indian style pizza never would have crossed my mind. When I think Indian I want the heat and the impact from all of those amazing spices. Again, that is just personal preference. The pizza still tasted delicious. It also looks fantastic. I could even just add some red pepper flakes or something similar when I order next time. And not everyone likes heat. So I am sure this is a perfect pizza for others.
