"Found this place on our first day here and had lunch after visiting the market. Went back in the evening 3 times as we couldn't fault the food, friendly staff and reasonable prices. Be prepared for some slightly odd translations and to have to ask...for things eg draft beer and wine and sandwiches not on the menu but available. Place is full of locals which has to be a recommendation in itself. Good, simple local food, freshly cooked and generous portions."

"If you want an authentic local experience away from the tourist masses, O Murta is a must visit. Fresh fish simply grilled, superb wine and a friendly but no frills host. Just brilliant. The sea bass is to die for."

"American bar style decor, 80s, with bikes as seats to sit at the counter and car glass as cakes showcases ... excellent decor with good decor. Fastfood food, XL size hamburgers, grilled meats, pancakes ... well worth a visit! If you have children, ask for the children's menu, yours will be pleasantly surprised! (Original) Decoração tipo bar americano, anos 80, com motas como bancos para sentar ao balcão e o vidro dos carros como vitrines de bolos... excelente decoração com uma boa decoração. Comida de fastfood, hambúrgueres de tamanho XL, carnes para grelhar, panquecas... vale a pena visitar! Se tiver crianças, peça o menu das crianças, a sua vai ficar agradavelmente surpreendida!"

"Nice view, nice setting. Food is oke. Good but not acceptional. Decoration on plate is somewhat dull. Taste is good. Staff friendly but they seem what inexperienced."
