There was only one waiter taking and serving the order and no idea how she does it but we are very satisfied with the food and the service. Their fried chicken is always on point! We got the half half FC, cheese deokbokki, eventually we also got the cream udon which was our personal favorite. The udon came really late (literally we finished all the rest of the food) so they apologized and just gave the udon to us on the house. We understand how busy it was but we appreciate the amount of effort that the waiter brings to still check everyone with their food. Highly recommend this place! Better come as early as 5pm to make sure you get seated quick.
Super cool under ground bar ambience we ordered the honey garlic chicken, which was amazing and the service was great! Definitely going back!
This review is specifically for Underground Kitchen, which is in the basement floor below Shin Sung Restaurant. Not sure why both are grouped together on Google Reviews. Underground Kitchen was so good!! We got the Creamy Onion Chicken, Honey Garlic Chicken, Fried Gizzards, and Corn Cheese. All of the dishes were delicious, food came out in a timely manner, and our waiter was so nice! We can't wait to come back!
I recently went to Underground Kitchen and it was an amazing experience! The food was absolutely delicious and the atmosphere was unique and fun. The wings are phenomenal! The service was also excellent, with the staff being very knowledgeable about the menu and attentive to our needs. The restaurant is located in a cool underground space, which adds to the overall experience. I would highly recommend Underground Kitchen if you're looking for a unique and delicious dining experience.
The concept of the space is pretty cool. It reminds me a bit of places I used to eat at in Philly. There aren't that many tables I think like 6 tables from 2person to 8person seating. Service was really slow and almost seemed they didn't want to be there or be working. The food was all very heavy and greasy so be aware. Amongst 3 people we shared half and half wings, cheese corn, spicy pork bulgogi (rice is extra charge), korean pancake and cheese spicy rice cake. I tried to find something else on the menu to balance but it would have been a noodle dish or soup but not really what I was looking for. The korean pancake is thick so it's on the heavier side. The rice cakes were okay nothing really special. The chicken isn't like a whole chicken they're a mix of wings and legs and they're fairly small. It was good to try once but not really a place I'd go again.
