Avaliação da contribuiçãoThis was a surprisingly great experience. The lunch we had was wonderful. My husband and I had the crab cakes that were some of the best we have ever eaten. The 2 crab cakes were served with 3 sides that were equally good
If you enjoy a restaurant that hasn't been upgraded, painted ore really cleaned since the 60's, this is your spot. Several items on the menu were not available, the frozen vegetables were so over cooked they were translucent. We ended up here rather than wait 45 minutes for the Salty Pelican. Don't bother, wait for the Pelican
The water was not good tasted like sea water. The salad was wilted and contained onions, not what I asked for. I had the flounder which was slightly undercooked in the center and not up to temp. My husband had the grouper, it was ok. But the atmosphere left nothing to be desired and the service was not great. Will not return.
Waitress Kay was a hoot! Miss Pam was nice as well. But the fried food was almost toxic. Not to say the seafood didn 't start off well. . . . but everything deep fried came out with a cement like brown. . . really brown coating. Sort of like, they hadn 't changed the liquid (pro fry? mir-oil? fry-max? in years. . . . Deep frying battered fish shouldn 't come out dark, dark brown. The couple we were with had broiled fish. . . a MUCH BETTER choice. The coleslaw was a B- and even the hush-puppies (which again, started out well came out brown. . .brown. . brown. And then there were the clam strips. . . sort of like tasteless rubber bands coated in batter and cremated.
Not what I expected. Food was ok. service was fabulous
