BRISBANE VALLEY TAVERN - FERNVALE

The BVT is the best place for a drink and/or a meal in Fernvale. Run by Helen and Sam, the staff are great, the ambiance is great and the food, yes, great. Even for a vege-terrible like me.

The old frozen veggies are sad when the Fernvale Markets Sunday is full of farm fresh food. We go for the pub steak. Being cattle guys we know the age of the beef.

Went a bit after lunch and had a couple of drinks with family. Nice little tavern that had live entertainment, overall a nice Sunday sesh

We've dined there a number of times, typical pub food at OK pricing. Service not great, but OK. If you are looking for a pub meal, this will satisfy.

Went here with some friends to catch up for dinner, I found the place to be rather unorganised looking with the bar and eating area all merged into one. The meal was very average to say the least, I ordered salmon fillet with a side of some sort, this was this thinnest piece of salmon I have had before considering it was around $20.00 odd dollars not much value for money. Over cooked fish and not very tasty the only saving grace was the vegetable bar you can help yourself to. Overall the staff where friendly enough and quick to serve you.
