Rifugio Bolzano - Fie allo sciliar

Certamente non facile da raggiungere (dal Compatsch) ma ripaga abbondantemente! Veloce spuntino all'aperto prima di scendere all'Alpe. Servizio molto veloce e cortesia dal personale. Servizi igienici perfettamente puliti! Bravi!

E' uno dei rifugi più importanti dell'arco alpino, internamente ha degli ambienti molto suggestivi mantenuti con molta cura. Unico appunto la pallina di gelato accompagna lo strudel o il tortino e che nel menù è messa a 2 euro è veramente minuscola, sono 40 grammi scarsi per un gelato industriale che fa 50 euro al chilo, veramente un ricarico eccessivo.

After a 10km long trek, staying at Rifugio Bolzano was rewarding. We booked a double room, which was tidy and cute with a great view . It's not just a basic hut but a modern and an equipped one. The room has about 4 usb ports for charging, very handy. Check in process was smooth and each and very staff working here are polite and welcoming. We are vegetarians and they did have a few options in the menu. We ordered Vegetable soup, Orange Punch and Vegtable Pasta with tomatoe sauce. Each and every dish tasted great. Shower is 3€ for 3 minutes but the water was not at all hot, if you are a hot bather, then never mind taking a shower here. The breakfast spread was good too. Sunset here is beautiful and not to be missed. Thanks to the whole team of Rifugio Bolzano for making our stay memorable. Highly recommended hut.

We stayed overnight here and enjoyed a wonderful dinner meal and a breakfast buffet. excellent service. We were a group of 8 so had our own little dining area which was warm as it was near the stove sleeping rooms were a bit chilly so be prepared

This hut is on top of Sciliar mountain. We hiked from Compatsch, so quite a long one (20+ km in total), but the view from the top well compensates for the effort. The hut inside is beautiful, with wonderful maiolic stoves.
