Ninth Wave - Fionnphort

We were happy enough to find this wee place and get a table on a recent visit in mull. wow! that was a unique culinary experience. the four courses were exquisite and it was so hard to choose between them. the photos only show how beautiful they were, but they cannot convey the deep of the taste that was packed in every mouthful or quality of the ingredients and cooking. john and carla have created something really magical here and it was a delicious bite that the man himself serves. haute kitchen without shredder from pretension. a rare sound!

One of the best restaurants that I was on the island of the clam and certainly the best. it was such a taste journey; a really exciting experience. the fish dishes were the highlights. the lobster with the lobster was heavenly and the lachskissette flower left us speechless. even the cocktails were ultra-special with a homemade banana marshmallow, which was like nothing I ever tasted. Finally, the sticky toffee pudding and parfait were divine. everything from beginning to end was magical. thanks to carla and team.

Brilliant place, fine seafood, well presented and extremely tasty. she had a great dinner. they also have a waiting list to take a chance on themselves. overall really nice restaurant.

A very special place and certainly one that must be on their list if they appreciate food and taste! the booking is important because it is a small intimate eating and the menu is a set 4 or 5 courses, with a certain choice in it. the extracts for us were the crab souffle (his kaption shell and also the pink pfefferminz merangue simply amazing! the entire operation is very well managed and focuses entirely on the quality and taste of the local ingredients. the staff is very attentive and helpful and especially it is extremely good value for money! highly recommended if they plan a trip to the maul!

From the cocktails to the cheeseboard, this place was truly amazing. Every course was a delight (especially the crab! Stunning food and tremendous service. Without doubt one of the best meals I've ever had. Thanks so much Carla and Johnny
