Avaliação da contribuiçãoFound this while walking around. All the others appeared busy but this one is down a quiet road. Had a few guys selling stuff across the road but don’t be put off. Quiet and a real gem. Great chief and equally great food. Had three courses in the end and the fig flan was to die for. Do not dismiss because it is quiet go and try you will not be disappointed. Had the chops with beans and a mixed salad and partner had rabbit with potatoes. Both happy with what we picked. Cheap house wine too. Having paid five euros in day for coffee to find it for half the price was a delight.
Charming and rustic, as many Florentine restaurants are, with some different dishes that were outstanding. I was glad I ordered the meatballs! Tender and delicious and not something on every menu. Service was pleasant.
I've eaten here three times, with each meal as good as the last. Located on the Piazza Ciompi, near antique stores and furniture restorers, it caters to a local crowd that knows good food when they eat it. The chef really puts care (and some interesting herbs) into traditional Tuscan dishes. He doesn't rely on salt to provide taste, as many cooks do. The menu changes from day-to-day. The lasagna was wonderful, and the fresh pasta with squash and cabbage spectacular. It is a friendly, welcoming place with a deeply talented chef.
Wonderful food and wonderful service. We wanted a simple, fast, and cheap meal and this osteria was perfect. A true Italian osteria. My meal was 7 euro for a primi, water, and an espresso. Definitely a great place to visit!
This little place is a real find. Stunning location in the Piazza Dei Ciompi/Sant'Ambrogio district.Aeay from the crowds of touristy Florence. Incredibile food..traditional florentine receipes using quality local products. Chef and owner Pierluigi really knows how to seduce with food! Come here you will not want to go anywhere else. Excellent!
