Avaliação da contribuiçãoWe come here for the hot pot at least a couple times every fall/winter, and it never disappoints. The tom yum broth is great, as is the housemade soy sauce (for dipping or for mixing), and they have a bright sweet-ish chili paste on request in addition to the usual toppings. Kaitlynn did a great job taking care of us. For drinks, the seasonal sake flight is always excellent and we also enjoyed the warm apple pie wine! Food: 5
Visiting a friend in the area we decided to try this place out and were quite disappointed. We ordered the Rangoons which literally had 1 small piece of meat in them and 1 out of the 4 peices in the order we got had no filling at all and tasted stale. We ordered one of the sushi specials and had very little of ingredients that were listed. Drinks were also subpar for the price. We were only able to order the 2 appetizers and drinks due to having to wait a long time to even get them, the waiter was dealing with a dispute which wouldn't have been an issue if the food and drinks were good but the experience was pretty disappointing for the amount of money spent and the quality of the food.
The unfortunate part of this is 100 yards down the road is kaizen. They have superior rolls in almost every way. We went to a wedding reception, and it was a salad, cucumber roll, basicly 1 1/2 salmon rolls, and 1 1/2 California rolls with a main entre of hot pot. Everything before the hot was again average, and the hot pit was a fun experience if never done before, but at the end of it, I felt wanting more out of the hot pot. I did not pay so I cannot comment on the price. But also on the other end the waiters and waitresses were amazing went above and beyond with anything and everything we requested. I wish the food was a bit more. And like I said unfortunately the biggest downfall is that kaizen is right there. If this was the only place in town I would recommend.
Love this place. Been going since the original in Worcester. Wilson is a top notch guy and his restaurants show it. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
