Subway - Flin Flon

Went for breakfast/coffee during a power outage. Had the usual egg-bun things, same as any other subway. Nice to have the opportunity as nothing else was open on a Sunday in FF except McDonalds and it was backed up because of MB Hydro repair people.

We arrived late in Flin Flon so not much was still open and we were hungry. Due to my dietary issues Subway seemed like a safe bet as it offered plenty of options and at an affordable price. Our subs were made right but we asked for a dozen cookies and only got 9. When we went back to the till and explained this the guy seemed so offput that he had to correct something his coworker did. When we went to grab our fountain drinks we discovered that there was no root beer syrup in the machine and very little ginger ale syrup. But based on the reaction to the cookie issue we weren’t going to go complain. Food is good but staff were lacking customer service and counting skills.

The quality of the food and the service here is very goodI am a vegetarian and I was able to find some non-meat options.

Wife and I visited during "Way of Lights", and decided to eat at the buffet Wow, DISAPPOINTED, at how the quality has gone away.
