Avaliação da contribuiçãoA place that remains consistently wonderful! We recall their grand opening. It respects its surroundings, attracting a laid-back crowd rather than wild party-goers. It’s a spot where people come to relax and enjoy themselves. The outdoor seating is fantastic; we used to take our dog for walks there before COVID. The simple dishes are the highlight. This is definitely a place we’ll want to return to time and time again!
The food was good! However, be prepared for an extremely long wait for your meal. We sat down at 12:15, but didn't receive our food until 1:15. To make matters worse, one person in our group was overlooked and had to wait an additional 30 minutes for her chicken sandwich! During our long wait, the waitress never offered to refill our iced tea, and by that point, we were all left with empty glasses, just chewing on ice. When we were finally ready to leave, I had to ask the hostess to track down our waitress to bring us our bills so we could finally get out of there. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning. By the way, when we arrived, the restaurant was nearly empty, so there was no reason the kitchen couldn't have provided our meals in a more timely manner, especially considering they completely forgot one of their guests’ orders.
I had the pleasure of being served by one of the most polite and friendly servers, Alex. The food was fantastic, and the atmosphere was excellent. I highly recommend this place—10/10!
Most aspects of the restaurant were slightly better than average, but nothing stood out as exceptional.
Beer is back, so that’s a positive! I’d almost give this place two stars, but the food is simply outstanding. Unfortunately, some bright idea led to moving all the brewing equipment to Murrells Inlet, which means they rarely have the beer that originally made this place special. To the owner: It would have been better if you had just kept it where it was!
