Avaliação da contribuiçãoWe absolutely loved this restaurant! The food was fantastic—especially the duck tacos, which were incredible. The guacamole they make specially is also huge! Our favorite part was the patio area; it’s equipped with fans to keep it cool, and both the inside and outside have a great vibe. We often found ourselves just going there for a few drinks and sitting at the bar. The only downside is that it’s always busy. However, if you don’t mind waiting, it’s definitely worth it.
The restaurant has a lovely and contemporary vibe, offering both indoor and outdoor seating. I would describe the cuisine as modern Mexican/Tex-Mex. The food is fresh, but the portions are somewhat smaller, so you might want to consider ordering an appetizer as well. Their house margarita is excellent, and the complimentary salsa is unique; it's a blend of green and red salsa, giving it a fantastic flavor and kick. They have multiple locations; I've visited this one and the one in Plano, and both have consistently great service and food. The restaurant is situated in a corner, so parking shouldn't be a concern!
Mi Dia is absolutely fantastic! I love the spiciness present in nearly every dish they prepare. Their vegetarian enchiladas are solid, though I do wish they offered a wider variety of vegetarian options. For instance, Tacolu in Jacksonville, Florida, has an extensive selection, with some dishes even surpassing their meat-focused counterparts. The patio space is lovely—it's nicely shaded in the early evening, and they've got some impressive heaters for those chilly winter nights. The staff is wonderful as well. We'll definitely be back!

The staff at this restaurant are incredibly friendly, which made our experience even better than the food. We had some dietary restrictions, and though we weren't very specific about them, our waitress took the time to patiently explain the ingredients and assist us in choosing our drinks and meals. I ordered the Baja shrimp tacos, and the waitress asked if I was okay with them being battered. I agreed, but later I realized I didn't fully enjoy it and wished I had taken her advice and chosen something else. On the other hand, the drinks were outstanding! You absolutely have to try the "Hell Freezes Over" – you'll thank me later! And as others have mentioned, the "Not So Table-Side Guacamole" was fantastic.
