Avaliação da contribuiçãoWent to have a Sunday lunch with my husband. Wait staff was very rude and unwelcoming. The place looked dirty and was very dark, our food was edible and that’s about it. Salsa was warmAnd tasted like tomato sauce. Enchilada cheese wasn’t even melted and beans were cold. GreenChili had no flavor. Many other options to choose! I highly wouldn’t recommend this place! Will never be back.
Lunch cafeteria style makes for a quick meal that is filling and so yummy. Phil, take care of yourself, missed getting to see you. Customer service is great, my family loves El Burrito. Another wonderful family owned business!
The food was okay, nothing spectacular. The salsa, however, was horrible, it tasted like pure ketchup, and they apparently charge you for it since I ordered a $9 plate and the total came out to over $14. I've never been to any Mexican restaurant in the country that charged for chips and salsa.I don't actually regret going there for lunch. The food, minus the salsa, was edible but it's not a place I would ever go back to by choice. If a friend suggested it I would try to steer them elsewhere. The cost for the mediocre taste just isn't worth it.The restaurant itself is a really strange, multi-leveled, unorganized mess of small rooms they've put tables in. If you're there for the first time and your party suits down before you you'll be going from room to room (going up and up different levels) to find them. The restrooms smell awful, the men's room anyways, and have no climate control so in winter you'll freeze and, I'm guessing, in summer you'll roast. It's worth a look and just having edible food puts them miles above dozens of other Mexican restaurants in Colorado. I'm not sure if it's the altitude or what but Colorado has the worst Mexican food in the US. So yeah, having edible food is a sort of win.Parking: There's very few parking spots available so you'll have to circle a few times waiting for one to open or park a couple blocks away.
Went in for lunch the other day while shopping around old town, and ordered a beef burrito. While we were waiting for our food, a waitress was clearing off another table and plopped the tub full of half empty cups and plates into what I assume to be a sink on the other side of the wall dividing our booth and hallway. As soon as she did, I was splashed with dirty sink water. It went all over me, my phone, and my drink. Once our food came out, I ended up taking one bite out of it before just leaving because I was so grossed out. The inside of the burrito was cold despite it absolutely swimming in the most watered down steamy excuse for green chili. I knew it was going to be disaster when our food came out less than five minutes after ordering it, but I didn't know it was going to be THAT bad. The salsa was also very sweet, and honestly tasted just like the marinara sauce packet you get with your Mozzarella sticks at Sonic. It was so weird. I regret leaving any money on the table.
Great food. But after going to El Burrito for Many years we were shocked at the Margaritas. No alcohol, Just limeade. We felt ripped off.
