TGI FRIDAYS - Davie - Fort Lauderdale

THE RESTAURANT WAS NEARLY EMPTY AND YET IT TOOK ABOUT 40 MINUTES FOR OUR FOOD TO COME OUT. THE WAITRESS NEVER SEEMED TO BE AROUND, AND WHEN WE FINALLY CAUGHT HER ATTENTION TO ASK WHERE THE FOOD WAS SHE JUST SAID THE KITCHEN IS SLOW TODAY . NO APOLOGY. THE BURGER WAS GOOD, BUT THE RIBS WERE NOT FALL OFF THE BONE. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR AS FOOD WAS REASONABLY PRICED BUT NOTHING SPECIAL

On a Tuesday night there was hardly anybody there. Got a bacon cheeseburger a rum and Coke and some fries before our movie at Cinemark 24.

We called in the morning to make a reservation for 7pm. Got there at 7 in the dot and after waiting for about 7 minutes at the entrance because nobody was there, finaly the host came out and told us that even with reservation it was a 30 to 45 minutes waiting time. The restaurant was half empty so in my opinion the have to employ more personal, specially on weekends to provide with a better service and also, train better their host to be more polite, because there was no apologies of any kind for the inconvenience. By the way it was an inconvenience because we had tickets for the movie at 8:30pm so we ended leaving and going to fast food restaurant closed by so we can be back in time for the movie.

Server was nice but food took over 1 hour to arrive. We were a party of 3. After 1 hr waiting, my husband’s food came, then my cousin and I had to wait more than 10 additional minutes for our food. My husband ordered sliders which were mostly burned, but since we were starving after waiting for so long plus we were kinda of late for a movie we had booked, we ate it and left. Terrible food. Its been years since the last time I ate at this restaurant, now I know why.

Needed some to have dinner and drinks before going to the movies at Cinemark Paradise 24 and there weren't many options right in this area.
