Avaliação da contribuiçãoThe service at this restaurant is quick and friendly, and the food is delicious, especially the hamburgers and onion rings. Although we didn't try the ice cream, it seemed to be popular among other customers, so it must be fantastic.
The smoked meat burger was excellent and hard to come by in Southern Alberta. The ice cream is also delicious, especially during the summer months.
We have stopped here for ice cream a number of times this summer when on road trips and passing through. The staff have always been so nice replaced my daughter's ice cream cone at no charge when she dropped it before she even started it, for example. The ice cream is tasty and there are so many flavours to choose from. The locals have always been very nice to us, too, chatting us up as we enjoy our treat.
The owner? manager? in this small cafe was so very gracious when we descended upon them for ice cream and a break from the heat when our tour bus broke down in town. They had 2 or 3 staff woking, plus the owner? manager? (not sure which), but they rose to the challenge. Most of our group had ice cream, either soft serve or hard ice cream, but I had a coffee. It was very good coffee, and my group reported that the ice cream was very good, too. The menu lists 45 flavors of soft serve ice cream and nearly as many hard ice cream flavors. They also serve burgers, fries, pizza, etc. Be sure to stop here on your way through town. They will not disappoint you.
My family stopped in here on our way through town. The mushroom burger was surprisingly good and hot. The mozzarella burger was a good puck and what my husband was expecting. The fries were fresh and hot. The pizza was floppy and hot and tasted like average pizza. Not haute cuisine by any stretch but quite eatable.
