Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen - Fort Wayne

The waitress was nice but we felt very rushed. From moment of sitting down to Bill was 40mins in total. I only wanted one side but was told I had to pick 2 or she would double the one. Um with obesity rates so high we should not be forcing anyone toorder more then they want! As we talked and tried to enjoy our drinks she came and asked for tablet from our son who was playingthe game we paid for, to set up our bill. I didn't even touch the one side as it was too much or finish my drink as she keptcoming back to see if we had left to clean the table. It would have been enjoyable to be able to enjoy our food and drinkswithout feeling rushed and no the restaurant was not packed and there was no on waiting at the door to get in! The 3 staff atthe door didn't even say goodbye as we left! We are not from Indiana, but if we xome back we won't eat there again!

Called about having my daughter's Sweet 16th birthday there. We are here from Florida visiting family and told the person I talked to that there would be 20+ people coming. Told didn't take reservations but they would do what they could. To make a longstory short, whoever the hostess and employees that worked that evening(June 30th 6:30) went above and beyond to make hernight special. I believe our waitress was Emily. Hopefully, I got her name right. She was amazing! Everyone was awesome!!! Thankyou Cheddars for an amazing get together for our family and celebrating our daughter!!!!

So we did the date and decided to get two entrees and share them. Steak dinner with baked loaded salad and chicken fingers with frits and Slav. Unbelievable how GOOD was the steak! Asked for medium rarely and it was on site. Chicken was hot and juicy with a crispy light bread. Our server was pleasant and attentive with a very friendly personality and also managed to talk to us in a dessert. We sat at the back of the bar and it was cozy and seemed private and tucked away on a cool day. Really good food. I'm glad we stopped.

Had an AWESOME experience at Cheddars for a late lunch today. The food was awesome and fresh, but the BIG HIGHLIGHT of our meal was our server Tisha. She was efficent, fast, and extremely friendly. Next time I go, I will make sure she is there. If you want an awesome server, Tisha is your girl!!!!

It had been a long time since I had been to Cheddar's. The last time the food would have been considered fair. I hadn't really wanted to go back. I ended up with a gift card and thought I would try again. Our wait staff, Brooke, was great. Anticipating our needs. The 8 oz. Sirloin I got was excellent. My wife loved her chicken tenders. I don't know what happened to cause this turn for the better, but we will be going back.
